Sales Order Extra Tab Overview

1. Branch, Warehouse, and Packing Warehouse Selection:

•In the Extra Tab of the sales order form, you can select:

•Branch: The branch associated with the sales order.

•Warehouse: The warehouse from which stock will be sourced.

•Packing Warehouse: The warehouse where items are transferred when packing the sales order (e.g., from the Master Warehouse to the Packing Warehouse).

•The default warehouse is determined by the settings in the Employee form for the specific employee creating or managing the sales order.

2. Allocation Location:

•Configure the Allocation Location in Quote / Sales Order > Sales Order Options > Allocation Tab:

•Global: Allows allocation of stock from any warehouse, as long as sufficient stock is available across all locations.

•Warehouse: Restricts allocation to a specific warehouse, as specified in the Extra Tab of the sales order.

•This setting affects the Available To Allocate column in the sales order, determining whether stock is sourced from a specific warehouse or globally.
