Lock Management

Go to: Company > Extra > Lock Management

Use this tool to release documents that are locked and cannot be opened. A lock typically occurs when a form was not closed correctly or is still marked as open by the system.

 

For example, you may receive a message such as: “Quote #57 is already open on this computer.” This indicates that the document is locked.

 

How to resolve:

1. Open Lock Management.

2. The Locks window will appear.

3. Select the document(s) you want to unlock.

4. Click Unlock.

 

Once unlocked, you will be able to open and continue working on the document.
